Google has rolled out a suggestion tool on the website for its Android operating system that is supposed to help you find a smartphone that's right for you.

It does this by having you answer some questions about what you want out of a phone. You have to pick at least three categories from a total of 12 to answer this.

You could choose "Being productive," "Gaming," and "Staying Fit," for example. Every time you pick one it then asks more specific questions about that function.

If you pick "Gaming," for example, you're asked how many hours you put into gaming every day, and then what types of games you like to play.

Once you've done this for at least three categories, the website will then give you suggestions for the kind of Android phone that may suit you.

Whether you trust these suggestions or not is up to you. As Android Police points out, the site seems to push flagship phones (read: most recent and expensive) such as the One M9 and Galaxy S6.

Still, if you have no idea what Android phone might be good for you, it seems like a good place to start.

Check out the "Which Phone" website here.
Android Police

We don't have a lot of info on Paradox's new studio yet apart from this article from Gameindustry.biz, but it seems that Paradox, makers of highly renowned strategy games such as Stellaris, Cities Skyline and more, are bent on developing new mobile titles that will appeal to the hardcore gamer crowd.

The goal is to bring a lot of games with strategic depth and while we don't know yet if that means bringing some of their PC titles to mobile, it could be safe to say since they are also publishing Prison Architect Mobile developed by Tag Games.

Hopefully some great premium games will emerge from that.
Source

It's a decent way to play new content first and perhaps even get an edge on the competition while also helping to improve the game.

It sounds like it could be worth it if you want to earn some rewards for testing beta content and taking part in future surveys. If you're an avid player of the game, it probably makes sense to get involved in the programme.
Wanna get an opportunity to try the new content before anyone else and provide your feedback to the team? Come and apply to be a part of the PUBG Mobile Beta Testing Group! Fill out the survey below for a chance to get selected: https://t.co/G7Mvh2u6pG pic.twitter.com/m9DkQ0wa3V— PUBG MOBILE (@PUBGMOBILE) January 3, 2020You'll first be asked your age, then the survey proper begins. It's all fairly straightforward stuff, with questions about when you first started playing, your current account level, highest rank achieved during the last three seasons, whether you play on Android or iOS, how much time you play PUBG Mobile on average per week, and why exactly you want to be a beta tester.

From there, you'll just have to wait and see whether you're selected. I don't really have any tips to help get you picked, so you'll just have to answer truthfully and hope for the best.

It feels weird to remember that Pokemon GO still isn't released worldwide, but rather that a few areas still have yet to get it. At last it looks like China will be getting their hands on the popular game by the end of 2018.

In an interview with the Financial Times this week, CEO of Niantic, John Hanke, finally revealed that Pokemon GO is set to release in China, though there's no solid launch date as of yet.

As Niantic works together with Chinese publisher NetEase, and considering the server issues Pokemon GO faced when it was first released back in 2016, there's a lot to think about before unleashing it upon the world's biggest mobile market.

Hanke describes it as, "I would say 2017 was about firing the second stage and getting into a stable orbit. 2018 is about the journey to Mars." This comes after a 'quieter' business period in 2017.

Though there are no specifics about Pokemon GO's plans aside from its launch in China, it'll be interesting to see what'll come of it and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite which is also set to launch later this year.

I mean, it's not like Harry Potter doesn't have the fan base, but its success will all be down to how Niantic's new branch, Portkey Games, handles it in comparison. Either way, it's going to be a busy year.

Initially announced back in March 2019 before being delayed until 2020, Square Enix's Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is creeping closer to a release. Well, in Japan at least, where it will launch for iOS and Android on October 27th.

To whet players' appetites, Square Enix has recently released a new trailer, which you can see in the embedded video below. There's a bunch of lore stuff at the beginning before we're given a brief glimpse of some combat towards the end, which very much looks like what you'd expect from Octopath Traveler.
The Panther and the Shepherds
