<p>Fortnite Season 5 is officially launching on July 12, according to a new teaser from Epic Games. The mask closely resembles a Japanese kitsune, or fox, an important figure in folklore that possesses supernatural powers.</p><p>Previous teasers for the new season have featured other objects from days long ago including horse-drawn carriages and an ancient Greek anchor. Meanwhile, landmarks within Fortnite have been consumed by the aforementioned dimensional rifts popping up throughout the game. Some of these landmarks have even appeared in real-life locations, leading to speculation whether this ties into Season 5, too.
