I am happy to report that the world appears ready for downloading.

The world requires all EPs up to Supernatural.
It includes World Adventures (Academy & Nectary), Late Night (various Bridgeport lots and clubs), Pets (parks etc, & lots), Showtime (Venues), Supernatural (Garden, hangouts, store, parks etc). Most lots keep the standard interior with some exterior landscaping changes.

No CC was used.

It appears the elevators in the Sunset Sports Zone bar (across from the stadium in the city) may cause routing issues. This can be fixed by deleting and placing new elevators.

Updated 25th November - reports about the Jones-Brown family causing some issues prompted me to evict and send them packing :cry: Also there may have been some random assignment of custom clothes or hair in the time based saves, thus I have disable CC inthe launcher an resaved all games to be on the safe side. Hopefully, since I have installed seasons I was quick enough to avoid any of that EP's content sneaking in. All link have been changed to the new save files. *fingers crosssed*

Here are a series of save game files that you can choose according to your requirements.

This file has had families added, no time has elapsed, hidden markers have been removed to avoid stuck sims, and the ghosts that are in Sunset valley are actually alive and require "killing" and gravestone placing. (detail in a read me file with the save)

This second save file (H-Time) has had about allowed time to reach 6:01 am on Monday morning, (so about 22 hours has passed form standard game start). It will probably require stuff packs.

Similar to the first save execpt I have sorted the gravestones and placed them on appropiate lots. I have also set workplaces and schools for those nearest the sim.

The third save file (R-Start) is if you don't mind the hidden markers. It is the world filled with families, but you will not have the standard Sunset Valley ghosts/gravestones.

The forth save file (R-Time) is again if you don't mind hidden markers. About 10 hours has passed form game start, but it has ghosts/gravestones, and sims have been assigned work/school close to them. It will probably require stuff packs.

Instructions for install: follow link, download, extract, the "City of Sunsets Save .sims3" folder, place the folder into your My Documents/Electronics Arts/The Sims 3/Saves folder. Then when you start up The Sims it should be found in your save games.

Note there is a slight difference from the V0.2 world found through the Mediafire link further below from an earlier version. The only change that was made was to the world description to include a link to this post, (and the version number changed to V0.2d). The save files should work for either version.

Update 18th Nov 2012
A new week a new build.
I dont have a save file ready though so it's just the world file.
It has a different world ID so you can have both this and the last installed at the same time. To tell the difference with this build it has "V0.2" at the end of the description.

Main changes:
Modified the two city beach lots, hopefully sims will swim from them now and more flat area for seasons stuff.
The four Summerhill Court lots are now all 64x64 size
Bayviewridge 60x60 lot has been flattened and enlarged to 64x64
Pinochle heights houses had their exteriors redecorated.
Changed the road to the french cobbles and added lightposts and trees to... Pinochle Point, Bayview Ridge, Summer Hill Court, and put road up to the Nectary.
I touched up a bit of terrain painting that was bugging me.
Added two beach lots along the main beach for you to fill with more seasons stuff, (or delete if you don't want them).
Shifted the waterfall way lot slightly to the right.
A few other minor errors were fixed.
